FDA Shares Hand Sanitizer Info

Agency notes that consumers should not DIY.

The Food & Drug Adminstration has released a Q&A for consumers about hand sanitizers and COVID-19. In addition, the agency noted that consumers should not be making their own products in light of the product being hard to find. FDA tells consumers that if “made incorrectly, hand sanitizer can be ineffective – or worse.
